A fourth man has been brought before Dublin District Court in connection with the death of the 22-year-old INLA man, Patrick Campbell, last month. Denis Thompson, aged 21 and from Cloonmore Avenue in Tallaght, was charged with possession of firearms and unlawful imprisonment on October 6th last at Ballymount Industrial Estate. Two others, John Creed and Declan Duffy, have been charged with similar offences, while a third man, Daniel Finnegan has been charged with murder.
Denis Thompson was granted bail in his own bond of £100 with an independent surety or cash lodgement of £500. He has to sign on in Tallaght Garda Station every day, and is due to appear before the court again next week.
Patrick Campbell was seriously assaulted during a fracas between the INLA and a Dublin drugs gang in October. He died in hospital four days later.
