New sewage treatment plant for Dublin

The Government has cleared the way for the funding of a £200 million sewage treatment plant for Dublin.

The Government has cleared the way for the funding of a £200 million sewage treatment plant for Dublin. The new plant is part of the country's largest engineering and environmental initiative known as the Dublin Bay Project. Making the announcement, the Taoiseach Bertie Ahern said that the development would free land for housing and improve the potential for industrial expansion.
