Britain's Prince Edward has wed public relations executive Sophie Rhys-Jones at Windsor Castle this evening.

Britain's Prince Edward has wed public relations executive Sophie Rhys-Jones at Windsor Castle this evening. The wedding ceremony was led by the Anglican Bishop of Norwich Peter Nott. Ealier today the Prince was given the title of Earl of Wessex and Viscount Severn, the bride will become Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex. It was also announced today that Prince Edward will be given the Dukedom of Edinburgh after the death of the Queen and the present Duke of Edinburgh.
