The Director of Consumer Affairs has been urged to investigate the latest claims that supermarket giant Feargal Quinn is exploiting loopholes in legislation banning "hello money". Fianna Fáil deputy Martin Brady said that suppliers were again being asked to make payments to Mr. Quinn for promotional activities. He said that the consumer would ultimately carry the can for such activities through higher prices and less choice as retailers face unfair competition.
