A passenger was arrested after a jet made an unscheduled landing at Shannon Airport this morning. The American Airlines flight was en route from Boston to Gatwick, when it diverted to Shannon.
A 32-year-old Englishman, who was reported to be drunk, was arrested when the plane landed. He is due to be brought before a special sitting of Ennis District Court later today.
