Justice Flood, Rejecting CAB stance on documents
In a ruling this morning, Mr. Justice Flood said the bureau had not provided adequate factual or legal basis for its claim of privilege over the documents. The Criminal Assets Bureau must now decide whether to take the matter further in the High Court.
Mr. Justice Flood said the Bureau had made it clear that they would seak a judicial review if his ruling went against it. Mr. Justice Flood is also to send a report to the office on the matter. The Tribunal has now adjourned.
