Trimble calls for clarification of Sinn Féin position

The North's First Minister David Trimble has called on Sinn Féin to clarify whether or not the party is prepared to implement all the terms of the Good Friday Agreement or if it has moved to repudiate it.

Following the unsuccessful talks this week on the Hillsborough declaration, Mr Trimble said the document launched by the Taoiseach and British Prime Minister before Easter was a thorough-going attempt to implement the agreement, and that had now been rejected by Sinn Féin.
