The chief United Nations legal counsel left New York for Europe last night.

The chief United Nations legal counsel left New York for Europe last night. He is on his way to Libya for the hand-over of two suspects accused of the 1988 bombing of a Pan Am airliner over Lockerbie.

Hans Corell, who is in charge of the surrender of the two men, is expected to bring them from Libya to the Netherlands where they are to stand trial before a Scottish court.
