Mo Mowlam, published Stading Orders
The Northern Secretary, Mo Mowlam, has published the Standing Orders that will be used to select Ministers in the North's new Executive. The parties have until Friday to comment on them.
Under the Orders the Assembly will meet on the tenth of this month at which the so-called d'Hondt procedure will be invoked, allowing the parties to nominate Ministers for the Executive according to their strength. These nominees will act as Shadow Ministers until power is formally transferred.
