The matter was discussed during a working lunch in Paris. Agenda 2000 encompasses reforms on the CAP, EU finances and structural aid to poorer members, such as Ireland. Germany, which currently heads the rotating EU presidency, set March as its deadline for an accord on Agenda 2000. France has also adopted the deadline.
