Siobhan Hynes, Murdered Schoolgirl
Gardaí are to mount a special five hour operation in Carraroe, Galway, to try to find new clues, a week after the murder of 17 year old schoolgirl, Siobhan Hynes.
They are to distribute questionnaires to everybody in the village between ten o'clock tonight and three o'clock tomorrow to try to jog people's memories.
Superintendent Jim Sugrue, who's heading the enquiry, said he believed the operation might give them new leads, and he appealed for full co-operation.
He said the enquiry was progressing well, but he denied reports that there had been an arrest.
