This season, RTÉ Sport will bring you the biggest and best national and international sports events including the Paralympics, GAA, soccer, rugby, racing, athletics and more.
Kicking off this August RTÉ will broadcast 17 live UEFA Champions League fixtures this season in high definition on RTÉ Two HD with first choice matches on Wednesday nights, as well as comprehensive coverage of every round.
As the season climaxes this autumn, RTÉ will feature more live matches with a record 24 live games from the Airtricity League and FAI Cup being broadcast on RTÉ Two in 2012 including the FAI Ford Cup final broadcast in HD on RTÉ Two HD.
MNS also continues with highlights of the latest Airtricity League action along with opinion and analysis on the country's only dedicated Irish soccer programme.
The Republic of Ireland soccer team begin their campaign to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this autumn. RTÉ Two will be there each step of the way this autumn with live coverage of their qualifying games away to Kazakhstan and the Faroe Islands and against Germany in the Aviva Stadium.

RTÉ will have exclusive live coverage of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling and Football semi-finals and finals live from Croke Park on The Sunday Game Live along with the best GAA analysis and discussion on The Sunday Game. This autumn, RTÉ Television will also screen the Camogie final live, the GAA GPA All-Star Awards, highlights of the ladies football final and live coverage of the GAA 2013 Championship Draw.
This autumn Ireland has its biggest team in 16 years at the Paralympic Games, RTÉ will present eight highlights programmes from London featuring all 49 Irish athletes across 10 sports.
RTÉ Two will also feature highlights of the best of the action and analysis from the Premier League in Premier Soccer Saturday and Premier Soccer Sunday.
Following Leinster's narrow one point defeat in last season's final, RTÉ Sport will broadcast another season of the Rabodirect PRO12 league with up to 30 live games featuring all four Irish provinces home and away.
Coverage of Ireland's top races continues with the Champion Stakes and the Irish St. Leger this autumn, before wrapping up the year with the Leopardstown Christmas festival in December.
