RTÉ Television Sales Charity Walk
18 of the Television Sales team braved the elements on Saturday morning and undertook the Wicklow to Enniskerry part of the Wicklow Way, a 21km walk that turned into a 30km walk as they unknowingly continued past the finish line to start the next part of the Wicklow Way to Glendalough :)
Through mixed weather, 2 brief lunch stops and a few swigs from hip flasks, they managed the walk in just over 8 hours.
The team would like to thank everyone who donated to their 3 chosen charities and for all the support and well wishes that spurred them on, particularly during the last two hours of the trek.
The link for donations will stay open until Friday so if anyone would still like to contribute, there's still time. The chosen charities are The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, The Irish Cancer Society and The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland.
