In another 'break stickiness' initiative, and as launched by Geraldine O'Leary, Commercial Director RTÉ Television, at our Summer Schedule event - the first phase of the Watch & Win 20" Competition Promos will kick-off tonight (Tuesday) across RTÉ Two.
There will be two executions running initially, rotated evenly across the schedule for a week. These will be replaced by another two clues the following week, and then the final clue the week after. The competition will finish on August 6th.

Speaking of the initiative, Geraldine O'Leary said:
"We are delighted to be first to market with an innovative cross station promotion, designed to encourage viewers to watch the ad breaks, whether viewing live or in catch up. While advertisers only pay for the viewers that actually watch the ads, it is incumbent on us to continually think of ways to drive commercial viewing to our channels. While cross station promotions are a frequent occurrence on Radio stations, this is, as we understand it, a first for a TV channel in this marketplace."
