Jack DeJohnette

Friday August 22nd...

Eamonn Lenihan concludes a 4-part feature on drummers, with Jack DeJohnette's Ripple Effect, captured in performance at Tampere, Finland in November 2007. DeJohnette - who also plays piano and composes - has famously worked with Miles Davis and Keith Jarrett. John Surman is amongst the musicians taking solos in DeJohnette's quintet. All this along with the voice of Brazilian vocalist, Marlui Miranda.
