Coming up on Vox Nostra on Sunday 24th December.
With a day to go before Christmas, Vlad asks the Vox Nostra composers of the week to step aside and make room for a bounty of Christmas music. With no shortage of stellar music from over a thousand years to choose from, Vlad picks the best out of the Christmas bag to fill the morning of Christmas eve on Vox Nostra. Framed by Palestrina's "Quem vidistis pastores" mass, Vlad sets the stage for the twelve days of Christmas with music specially composed for Christmas Eve.
Coming up on Vox Nostra on Sunday 31st December.
In with the old and in with the new! Vlad brings a contemporary touch to Vox Nostra for the last day of the old year. As two forms of avant-garde music-making, Early Music and Contemporary Music have plenty in common, and Vlad explores the threshold of old and new on this Sunday morning's programme.
Old music on new instruments, new music for old instruments, and music that makes you do a double take in both directions--it's all part of a Vox Nostra filled with beauty and everything you've come to love about Sunday mornings with Vlad.
