On this Easter Monday Paul Herriott presents the Irish Radio premiere of James MacMillan's St Luke's Passion.

Friday November 24th, 7.30pm

Paul Herriott presents tonight's concert live from the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Nikolaj Znaider (photo Lars Gundersen) performs both soloist and conducting duties in a performance of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D and Shostakovich's fifth symphony. Audience members wept at the premiere of the symphony and awarded it an ovation that lasted over an hour. No pressure, then.
