    Jackson C. Frank: April 14th - 20th

The American singer/songwriter Jackson C. Frank was seriously injured as a child, in a school fire that claimed the lives of most of his classmates. He is best known for writing "Blues Run The Game", a song that's been covered by Simon & Garfunkel, Bert Jansch, Eddi Reader, John Renbourn and Frank's one-time girlfriend, Sandy Denny. He, himself, recorded just one album in his lifetime, the eponymous "Jackson C. Frank", produced by Frank's friend Paul Simon, in London. This week, we feature rarities from the newly-issued “Fixin’ To Die”: home and reel-to-reel recordings made during the 1960s and 1970s. Join Ellen and Eamonn to hear a selection each night this week, from 10pm...
