Christmas – a time for family – and our Blue spotlight shines on the first family of English folk, Waterson:Carthy – Norma Waterson, husband Martin Carthy and daughter Eliza Carthy. All this week, we feature tracks from their extensive catalogue, including some seasonal fare. That seasonal fare comes from their album "Holy Heathens and The Old Green Man" - a collection of lesser-known carols and Christmas ayres - recorded with Tim Van Eyken and singers The Devil's Interval.
