On Sunday's BLUE, we'll listen to 2 distinguished pieces of music by Enrique Granados, who was born in Spain on this very day in 1867.     Talich Quartet: July 21st - 27th

    Václav Talich was music director of the Czech Philharmonic from 1919 to 1939 .His nephew, Jan Talich Snr, founded the Talich Quartet in 1964. Three decades later, his son, Jan Talich Jnr, took the first violin chair in the quartet. In this, its 50th anniversary, we feature a number of Talich releases, including recent recordings of works by Mendelssohn, Brahms and Kalliwoda. Join us for Talich Quartet, each night this week on Blue.
