Blue Tunes Recommended - Leonard Bernstein: Aug 18th - 24th

When Leonard Bernstein passed away in 1990 at the age of 72, he left a legacy that is unparalleled in American music. As a composer, conductor, pianist and educator, one critic called him “one of the most prodigiously talented and successful musicians in American history”.  With such a variety of material to choose from, he’s our Blue Tunes recommended artist all this week on the programme.
