    Charlie Haden: Sept 1st - 7th

Charlie Haden, a yodelling child in a family hillbilly band, emerged as the bassist of choice for Ornette Coleman during the 1960s. All this week, we'll feature the more lyrical side of Haden. Expect recordings made with Quartet West, Keith Jarrett, Hank Jones, Pat Metheny and Haden's own children.
