    The Dankworth Dynasty: Sept 15th - 21st

.This week, our common thread is an English jazz dynasty: the Dankworth family. Reed-player/bandleader John Dankworth worked in film and TV (he wrote “The Avengers” and the “Tomorrow’s World” themes). His wife, Cleo Laine, often recorded with John. We’ll also hear from their children, Alec and Jacqui between now and Sunday.
