Trish Taylor

Trish Taylor began her radio career as a book reviewer on RTÉ 2FM's "Poparama" in the mid 1970's. The following decade proved colourful when she worked as both an actress and as Managing Director of Ireland's first Singing Telegram Company. When the recession of the late 1980s took hold she flew to Las Vegas and worked as a cocktail waitress - a job that financed her studies in Las Vegas Broadcasting School. She presented "Love Songs for Las Vegas" on KRLV Sunny 106.5fm among other flagship programmes on local radio stations during her years there.

After returning to Dublin in 1996 she became a Continuity Announcer with RTE Radio 1 while also presenting "Rising Time" and "Late Date". Following a successful audition with RTÉ Lyric fm in 2005 she took the plunge and moved to the Mid-West. Since then she has presented "The Music Box" and "The Lyric Breakfast" and is currently presenting "Daybreak" on Saturday mornings. She is delighted to see the return of "The Music Box" which she presents on Sunday mornings between 10am and noon. In perfect harmony with her love of music is her love of art and she is currently undertaking a degree course in Fine Art in the Limerick School of Art and Design.
