A new programme presenting a live concert performance from stages both at home and abroad. Aedín Gormley selects songs from the world of show business, plus choral classics and treasured favourites. We'll also feature a weekly matinée idol showcasing a much-loved performer or composer.

Radu Lupu is our Matinée Idol this Sunday lunchtime. Though somewhat reclusive, the Romanian pianist is known for his interpretations of the great 19th century German and Austrian composers and for performing at concerts whilst sitting in an office chair.
