RTÉ Radio wins Broadcaster of the Year Award
RTÉ Radio has been honoured with the prestigious Broadcaster of the Year Award at the 2011 New York Festivals Radio Awards.
In addition, RTÉ Radio programmes took home a further 16 awards, including a silver award for RTÉ lyric fm for 'The Sea in Song' produced and presented by Mary Owens, plus a bronze award for a lyric commissioned programme for RTÉ Gold 'Jimi Hendrix -Look Over Yonder', compiled and presented by lyric presenter, Bernard Clarke.
