    Tonight Bernard Clarke presents Opera Theatre Company’s recent production of Handel’s Oratorio ‘Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno’ with director John Butt, the Irish Baroque Orchestra and soloists Alison Browner, Kim Sheehan, Sharon Carty & Simon Bode. 

    Saturday 6th June
    Bernard Clarke presents Fromental Halévy’s La Juive (The Jewess) in a recording from Vienna State Opera. This work was one of the cornerstones of the French repertory with the role of Eléazar one of the great favorites of tenor Enrico Caruso. Tonight Neil Shicoff plays Eléazar  with a cast including Soile Isokoski, Zoran Todorovic, Regina Schörg, Alastair Miles, Istvan Gáti, Janusz Monarcha, Johannes Gisser, Martin Thyringer and Martin Thyringer. The Vienna State Opera Chorus and Orchestra is conducted by Simone Young.
