    Borodin's defining Russian epic, Prince Igor - famous for its Polovtsian Dances, comes to the Met for the first time in nearly 100 years.

    Saturday 5th September
    Tonight Bernard Clarke introduces Delibes’ much loved Opera Lakme in a new co-production by Lausanne Opera and Opera Comique. Miguel Ortega conducts the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra and Chorus with Julia Bauer (pictured) as Lakme, Daniel Golossov as Nilakantha, Jonathan Spicher as Hadjii and Philippe Renaud-Danthe as the Fortune Teller. 

    Saturday 12th September 
    Bernard Clarke brings us Tchaikovsky’s The Queen of Spades. James Conlon conducts the Rome Orchestra and Chorus in this production which was recorded in the Opera House, Rome. The cast includes Maksim Aksenov, Tomas Tomasson, Vitaliy Bilyy, Elena Zaremba, Oksana Dyka and Elena Maximova.
