A poverty stricken community of artists in Paris, and the beautifully doomed relationship of Rodolfo and Mimi, Marcello and Musetta is where we turn this week in Puccini's La Bohèm

Saturday 19th April - Richard Strauss’ Arabella
Swedish soprano Malin Bystrom stars in the title role of Strauss’s nostalgic romance, which explores the fleeting charms of youth, opposite Michael Volle and Genia Kuhmeier. Philippe Auguin conducts this touching and beautiful score. (Photo Winnie KlotzMetropolitan Opera)

Saturday 26th April - Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte
Music Director James Levine conducts Mozart’s beloved comedy about testing the ties of love. The cast is filled with youthful Met stars: Isabel Leonard and Susanna Phillips are the sisters Dorabella and Fiordiligi, and Matthew Polenzani and Rodion Pogossov are their lovers. Danielle de Niese is the scheming Despina. (Pictured: Isabel Leonard, Danielle de Niese and Susanna Phillips in Mozart's Così fan tutte. Photo Marty Sohl/ Metropolitan Opera)
