Sunday April 4th: Music plus electricity equals the sound of the 20th century - Joseph Schillinger, 1918.
Schillinger got that one right-but what is the sound of the 21st century? Tonight Nova unveils the three winning entries from Diffusion 2010 - an international competition dedicated to exploring emerging new talent in the cutting-edge world of electro-acoustic music. Jointly presented by RTÉ lyric fm and the Centre for Computational Musicology and Computer Music (CCMCM), University of Limerick, this year the Diffusion competition had over 140 entries from around the world. Think about the future.
