Liz Nolan
Liz Nolan hails from Dublin, and trained in voice, oboe and piano at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Following a degree in English literature (TCD Hons.), a Diploma in Vocal Teaching (DIT) and M.Phil. in Music (DIT/TCD), Liz was appointed academic lecturer and singing teacher at the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama. An interest in music education led to involvement with the Kodály Society of Ireland, where Liz was secretary and administrator for several years.
Following a Diploma in Arts Administration (UCD) she became Education & Outreach Officer at the Association of Irish Choirs/Cumann Náisiúnta na gCór.
In 2001 RTÉ lyric fm beckoned, where Liz has presented The Lyric Pitch, Daybreak and Liz Nolan's Lunchtime Classics, alongside numerous arts features. She now presents Liz Nolan's Classic Drive on 96-99 RTÉ lyric fm.
