This Friday August 11th, Join Marty in the Morning as he broadcasts live from the Verona Opera Festival and the atmospheric amphitheatre of the Arena di Verona - Marty describes the open air opera in the Arena 'as the closest thing to musical heaven on earth'.  Be sure to tune in, Friday 7am to 9am.

Russian soprano Olga Peretyatko was born and raised in St. Petersburg. She started her musical career at the age of 15, singing in the children's choir of the Mariinsky Theatre. She completed a course as a choirmaster and then enrolled to study singing at the Hanns Eisler-Hochschule für Musik in Berlin.
