    Kerry Film Festival Competition

    On Monday, we'll be offering you the chance to win two tickets to the Kerry Film Festival ive Score Event, an overnight for two (B&B) at the wonderful Grand Hotel in Tralee Town centre with a pre-event dinner at the Stone House restaurant for Sunday the 5th October.

    The Live Score Event features music written by Composer Bernard Reilly for the three silent films from the Kalem Film Company. “The O’Kalems,” as they were fondly called, were the first transatlantic films to be produced and the first-ever fiction movies to be made in Ireland, in Killarney and Beaufort specifically, in 1910.
