Eamonn Lenihan

2012 marks Eamonn Lenihan's tenth year presenting programmes for RTÉ lyric fm. He fronted a "rock" band in his younger days, has attended launches for his fiction (even winning a prize for one short story), worked in community theatre in Ireland, and completed studies at Boston's Berklee College of Music.

This year, Eamonn expects to fill his non-radio hours by delivering workshops around the country (you might spot him in a secondary school nearby, or on the RTÉ stand at events like the BT Young Scientist); and undertaking recording projects in his modest project studio (a number of productions due for release before year end).

Watching movies with strong scripts, keeping an eye on his B.M.I., making the monthly mortgage repayments, witnessing sporting events from his armchair and reading darkly-comic fiction are amongst other current obsessions.
