A two-part documentary which gives a fascinating insight into the little-known music collection of Trinity College Dublin. In the second programme we hear about the contributions of two former Professors of Music at Trinity College, the splendidly-named Ebenezer Prout and, more recently, Brian Boydell. Staff of the library describe how the collection was built up and continues to grow, as well as the enormous task of removing centuries of dust and dirt from the hundreds of thousands of books in the Long Room. And you never know what kind of unexpected music will turn up - anything from a concerto for a one-armed pianist to Yes Sir, That's my Baby.
