    Classical Kids

    Fauré wrote a suite for a girl named Dolly and included movements such as 'Kitty-Valse' written for a dog. We'll hear it on Sunday plus a song of wrong notes by Leonard Bernstein.

    Sunday March 29th
    We'll hear wonderful performances from childrens choirs around the world this morning, from Australia, Austria and Kenya, as well as our own RTÉ Cór na nÓg. We'll also hear the story of the Little Fiddle, and music that Gustav Holst wrote for the Planets. 

    Sunday April 5th
    Early one morning, Peter opened the gate and went out into the big green meadow..." What will become of Peter and his friends the duck, the bird and the cat when they're visited by a wolf? Find out on Classical Kids this Sunday as we hear Prokofiev's story of Peter and the Wolf, read by David Bowie. We'll also visit a circus, with exciting music by Rimsky Korsakov, Fucik and Sousa.
