Classical Kids

Classical Kids will send you back to sleep this morning with beautiful lullabies from around the world. Plus a musical menagerie by Camille Saint-Saens - The Carnival of the Animal

Sunday July 2nd, 10am

The Italian composer Jean-Baptiste Lully was a famous composer who studied the guitar, violin, keyboard and was also a famous dancer! We'll also meet a very musical family, the composer Johann Strauss and his sons Johann, Josef and Eduard.

Sunday July 9th, 10am

We'll hear music this morning by a composer who liked to give his music fun names such as the March of the Two Left Feet, Plink Plank Plunk and music written for an orchestra and a typewriter! We'll hear part of Beethoven's beautiful Pastoral Symphony, which he wrote about one of his favourites things to do - walking in the countryside.
