    Classical Kids

    We'll hear music written for a cuckoo, a bluebird and a lark today, plus Spanish guitar music by Falla, an Argentine tango by Piazzolla and a Chinese lullaby played on the erhu.

    Sunday August 30th
    Paddington Bear arrived in London wearing a funny-looking hat with a sign that read 'Please look after this bear.' On Sunday, we'll hear about his some of Paddington's many adventures as he goes to his first classical music concert. We'll also visit the opera to hear music by Rossini and we're off to the ballet with music written for a Sleeping Beauty by Ravel. 

    Sunday September 6th
    Some musical instruments can play both classical music and traditional Irish music and on this morning's Classical Kids we'll hear classical music and folk tunes played on the fiddle, the harp and the flute. We'll also visit a farm with music written for cows, chickens and sheep and welcome Autumn, with music by Vivaldi.
