Unwrap your Christmas presents to the stories of The Snowman and Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, plus carols by schools who entered the 2013 Choirs for Christmas competition.

    Sunday February 1st
We'll hear about the adventures Ratty, Toad and Mole on Sunday, with John Rutter's music for The Wind in the Willows. We'll also hear about the unusual names Haydn gave his symphonies, including the 'Drumroll' and the 'Clock'.

    Sunday February 8th
Get your dancing shoes on as we visit two ballets written about birds - Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky and the Firebird by Stravinsky. We'll also dance a tango and a waltz, and we'll hear different styles of music performed on a fiddle and a violin.
