Music for three princesses this morning - one with very long hair, one who loved to sleep and one who travelled about in a pumpkin! Plus the story of The Little Fiddle!

We'll sail the high seas with music written for pirates, and we'll make an underwater exploration to meet some of the creatures who live there. We'll also hear music written for a king, queen, a prince and a princess, and we'll hear about a composer who wrote music for many royal families, Domenico Scarlatti.

    Sunday May 15th

Camille Saint-Saens wasn't just a great composer, he was a great teacher too and today we'll hear music by one of his most famous students, Gabriel Fauré. We'll also hear the story of the Pied Piper with music by Walter Mourant, and some English folk songs arranged beautifully by the composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
