Sunday Jan 15th

French pianist Hélène Grimaud's lush sound and sweeping interpretations have drawn comparisons to such pianists as Martha Argerich. Aedín includes her recordings of Rachmaninov, Schumann and Chopin. In today's concert we'll hear Mozart's Violin Sonatas No 17 and No 18  played by Renaud Capucon (violin) and Kit Armstrong (piano) from the Grand Hall at the Mozarteum in Salzburg

Aedín Gormley's Sunday Matinée

Aedin's featured artist this afternoon is Danielle de Niese described by The New York Times as: 'The coolest soprano around' while our live highlight is Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony.
