TUBRIDY SHOW PHOTO COMPETITION:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS


1. The Tubridy Show Look of the Irish Photo Competition is open to residents of the island of Ireland aged 12 and over, excluding people who earn their living from photography and employees of RTÉ and of the prize sponsors Canon and their immediate family members (i.e. wife/husband/partner/ children).

2. The closing date for entries is Friday 7 August at midday.

3. All entries must be the entrant's own original work and must not have been previously published anywhere.

4. By entering, you grant to RTÉ a non-exclusive royalty-free worldwide license in perpetuity to copy, publish and make your photograph available to the public on the RTÉ website and on RTÉ owned media services and in print publications.

5. For the avoidance of doubt, it is acknowledged that you retain the copyright in your photograph subject to the foregoing non-exclusive license being granted to RTÉ.  This means that we will be able to use your photograph but that this will not prevent you from using it in any way.

6. By entering, you undertake to RTÉ that you have the right to enter the photograph and to grant the foregoing license to RTÉ and that the photograph is not subject to any third party rights, including without limitation any third party copyright, confidentiality or privacy rights.

7. The winning results will be announced on The Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 on the morning of Friday 14 August and published on the Look of the Irish website. The winners will be notified within 30 days of the date of the announcement. The winners will be the best photographs as selected by a judging panel.  You acknowledge that the judging panel’s deliberations and decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to server functions or failures, virus, bugs, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any other causes outside RTÉ's control. Proof of entry is not proof of receipt.

9. RTÉ will not acknowledge receipt of entries and shall not be responsible for the return of entries.

10. Winners may be required to take part in promotional activity and RTÉ reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs and any media submitted by them in relation to the competition in any publicity.
