The Active Retirement Ireland Trade and Tourism Show is back and this year it will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway on Tuesday 8 April, from 10am to 6pm.
Tony Award-winning theatre director and Co-Founder of Druid Theatre, Garry Hynes, will open the show, which will showcase approximately 85 varied exhibitors. Retired adults and those near retirement age will have the opportunity to view the best travel deals and packages available to them, all tailored to their needs. Health advice, information and options will also be provided to all intrepid travellers.
A lively mix of entertainment will also be on offer, from a fashion show with inspirational active retirement models, to cookery demos from celebrity chef Gary O’Hanlon of The Restaurant, and a host of fun workshops from genealogy to herbal medicine and painting. Local Galway businesses will also be showcasing everything they have to offer to the burgeoning active retirement market.
Thanks to generous support from title sponsor Specsavers Hearing Centres as well as others, the Active Retirement Ireland Trade and Tourism Show is a FREE EVENT and open to the public, providing a great day out to older adults of every budget.
With over 550 local associations throughout the country, Active Retirement Ireland works to ensure that retired adults maintain a full and active life and are recognised for their contribution to our society.
