Strike action by flight attendants with airline Lufthansa is disrupting flights to and from three of the Germany's busiest airports.
The Independent Flight Attendants Organization (UFO) has called cabin crews to strike from 4:00am to 12:00pm (Irish time) at Berlin-Tegel, from 5:00am to 1:00pm at Frankfurt and from 12:00pm to 11:00pm at Munich airport.
Lufthansa operates three flights daily from Dublin Airport to Frankfurt. This morning's 6.50am flight from Dublin departed as normal.
A spokesman for the airline said the mid-day flight is currently scheduled to operate as normal, although it is likely to be affected as the full impact of the strike becomes clear later this morning. All passengers are advised to check the airline's website regularly.
The 6pm flight should operate as normal as it falls outside the strike window. However, there may be unforeseen knock-on effects on flight operations.
