A 22-year-old English music teacher who decided to give a £1,000 holiday away for free after he broke up with his girlfriend has received a five-star welcome to Malta.
Tom Frankenburg, from Nottingham, posted a video on You Tube inviting people to tell him why they should be given the holiday. The clip received nearly 113,000 hits.
Mr Frankenburg decided that a couple called Dawn and Stuart should be given the trip. They applied to win the trip after Stuart spend three months in hospital recovering from an attack.

However, Mr Frankenburg’s generosity paid off when the Malta Tourism Authority decided that he should not be deprived of a trip to the island and they agreed to paid for trip for him and a friend.
He was greeted at the airport by models in traditional Maltese costumes. He and his friend, Lee, will be given tours around the island and will attend the MTV Music Awards.
