Ingredients

  • 1 [chicken] breast, sliced thinly
  • cup of [barley], soaked overnight in water
  • 1 large [onion], chopped
  • 3 [carrot]s, sliced
  • 1 chicken stock
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 table spoon of olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Fry garlic, onions and chicken, in olive oil
  • Make up 1 pint of chicken stock
  • Add in sliced carrots chicken and onions and garlic and cup of barley
  • Simmer for 30 minutes
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
