• 2 conference pears
  • 100 g fresh rocket
  • handful of walnuts
  • 250 g blue cheese (i used cashel blue)
  • hazelnut oil


  • Toast the walnuts on a dry frying pan for a couple of minutes.
  • Peel pears and chop into bite size pieces.
  • Cut cheese into bite size pieces.
  • Arrange rocket, pears, toasted walnuts and blue cheese on a plate.
  • Drizzle with a few drops of hazelnut oil.
