Heat a large sauté pan over a medium high heat. Add the olive oil and sauté the broccoli until it is tender but still crisp, add the garlic, red pepper flakes and season with salt.
Toss the vegetable for a few seconds and serve. (the heat from the broccoli will continue to cook the garlic sufficiently. I am always careful not to over cook vegetables like broccoli or it may have an undesirable after taste).
