Irish Paralympic hero and Renault Ambassador, Mark Rohan, and Justin McDermott of Jigsaw Galway are gearing up for the Bradley Renault Giro D'Galway.

The two-day, 360km cycle tour of Galway is to raise funds for Jigsaw Galway youth mental health service.

It is taking place over October 18 and 19 2014.

The Giro D'Galway will loop around the county with stage stops in Clifden, Tuam, Portumna and Gort, and will finish at the Bradley Renault showrooms on the Dublin Road in Galway City.

Jigsaw Galway is a free, non-judgmental and confidential support service for young people aged 15-25 living in Galway city and county.

It provides guidance and support for young people who are going through a difficult or distressing time, as well as advice and guidance for anyone who is concerned about a young person in their life or work.

"The Bradley Renault Giro D'Galway is going to be an amazing cycle and an incredible challenge for all cyclists who take part," said Justin McDermott of Jigsaw Galway, who is very excited to be involved in this exhilarating event.

"You will get to experience what life is truly like as a cycling pro: two long days in the saddle cycling 180km each day, staying in a team hotel; Renault support vehicles; Giro D'Galway branded gear; crowds to welcome you at each stage stop and the euphoria of completing a serious cycling challenge.

"Most importantly, you will be raising vital funds for Jigsaw Galway and spreading the message of positive mental health across Galway."
