Ford says that according to buying trends, white has surpassed black as the most popular colour for new car buyers across Europe.
Other interesting survey results show that brown and orange are the fastest-growing colours.
Ford's European survey shows white at 23%, black at 20% and grey at 17%.
One of the three colours is the top choice for every single country except Ireland, Poland and Romania, where silver – the fourth most popular colour in Europe (14%) – is the preferred option.
Turkish buyers are far and away the biggest fans of white (55% of Ford vehicles purchased).
UK car buyers are the most likely in Europe to buy a red Ford.
Romanian buyers are the most likely to choose a Ford with a blue paint job.
Norwegians like brown cars more than any other country (12%).
